Peanut Butter Traybake

Deliciously moreish mix of peanut butter, biscuits and chocolate.
- 250 g crushed digestive biscuits
- 80 g unsalted butter
- 40 g caster sugar
- 3 tbsp golden syrup
- 340 g smooth peanut butter
- 400 g milk chocolate
- 4 tbsp chopped nuts e.g hazelnuts or peanuts
Melt the butter, sugar and syrup in a pan over a low heat.
Add the peanut butter and stir until melted.
Remove from heat and add the crushed digestives, mixing until well combined.
Press into a lined 20cm baking tray and allow to cool. before putting in the frisge for an hour to set.
Once set, melt the chocolate and pour over the biscuit base, making sure to spread it out to the edges.
Sprinkle with chopped nuts and pop back in the fridge for approx. 30 mins.
Cut into squares and enjoy!
